Managing General Agents (MGAs)
Managing General Agents (MGAs) and intermediary facilities are increasingly looking to establish a presence in Europe due to the fiscal and speed-to-market benefits they gain. Through European Union (EU) Insurance Directives and local-enabling legislation under either the Freedom of Services or Freedom of Establishment (instituting an operation under a branch basis) law, a licensed EU intermediary is able to write life or general insurance business directly into the EU and European Economic Area (EEA) States. After the event legal expenses
ATE is a well-established product with applications in both the personal injury and commercial litigation markets. ATE coverage protects an attorney’s client (typically a claimant) when or after that person or entity becomes aware of the need to litigate to protect their interests. ATE covers the client against what could prove to be substantial costs if legal action were to prove unsuccessful. Artex specializes in the creation of insurance structures, which enable law firms to provide their clients with highly competitive, flexibly priced ATE insurance products. The law firms also have the opportunity to participate in the underwriting results of their insurance portfolio through the use of a Protected Cell Company (PCC) as the reinsurance vehicle. Our expertise in this sector includes the ability to work with market leading insurers via existing schemes, which have been carefully constructed to ensure total compliance with all necessary regulations. In addition, we have access to a number of PCC facilities with low start-up and capital costs.
Customer-centric solutions
Artex provides organizations in the insurance distribution channel (the ‘Insurance Producer’) the opportunity to leverage the profitable (low loss ratio) accounts they have developed with innovative structures that enable them to grow their revenue, expand their client base and exert a greater degree of influence and control over underwriting capacity.
Multi-family housing property owners
Artex has developed a renter’s liability program for apartment owners in North America.
